DMCA and takedown requests
Locra respects the rights of artists, venues, photographers and designers. Flyers appear as small thumbnails that credit and link the post they came from. If you own a flyer or other material shown here and want it removed, we will take it down.
The quick way
For a flyer, a listing or your name, the corrections and removal form is usually fastest. Pick "Takedown (copyright)" and include the link to the page.
Formal DMCA notice
To send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. ยง 512(c)), send our designated agent a written notice that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- a description of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
- the link to the material on this site you want removed;
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Designated agent
Designated agent: registration with the U.S. Copyright Office is pending. Until it is complete, send notices through the corrections and removal form.
Counter-notice
If material you posted was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice with your signature, the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your name, address and telephone number with consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district.
Repeat infringers
We remove material from sources that repeatedly infringe copyrights.
