Privacy policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy covers Locra at locra.net.
What we collect
Locra has no accounts or sign-ups. When you visit, our hosting and content delivery providers keep standard request logs (such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) for security and to keep the site running. If you send a request through a form, we keep what you send (and your name and email or handle, if you give them), with the time, your browser type and a one-way code made from your IP address (to stop abuse; not the address itself), and send a copy to the person who runs the site so they can handle it.
Advertising and cookies
Ads on this site come from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. This means Google and its partners may collect information about your activity on this site over time and across other websites.

Your choices
- Opt out of personalized advertising from Google in Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Ads you see may then be less relevant, but the site still works.
- Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent, through Google's consent message, before personalized ads are shown to them, and can change their choice at any time from that message's privacy link.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for money. Under some US state laws (such as California's), letting ad partners use cookies for personalized ads can count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can opt out of this:
- turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser: for visitors in US states whose laws require it, Google's ad tags treat that signal as an opt-out and switch to restricted data processing;
- opt out of personalized ads in Google Ads Settings; or
- send us an opt-out request: use the corrections and removal form.
Do Not Track
Browsers' "Do Not Track" setting has no common standard, so the site does not change what it does when it is on. Global Privacy Control is handled as described above.
People in listings
Listings name artists, venues and organizers as they appear in public posts. If you are named and want a listing, flyer or your name removed or corrected, use the corrections and removal form. Shows at private places are listed as "DM for address": we never publish their address, venue name or flyer.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
How long we keep data
Request logs are kept for a short time for security. Form requests are kept as long as needed to handle them and keep a record of what changed.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version. Questions or requests: use the corrections and removal form.
